What is this place?!
You've reached a website about me and my life. The picture on the left was taken a few years ago. I'm now 24 and live somewhere in the south of England.
Do you know stuff?
I have 11 GCSE's to my name, 10 of which are graded A or B. I achieved Distinction, Distinction and Merit in my BTEC National Diploma (IT Practitioners, Software Development) and I'm currently 120 points down on my 360 point BSc degree in Computing with Business (as of January 2012).
I think this means I know some stuff.
That's just paper... what can you actually do?
My practical experience is quite extensive. I've developed various things in PHP for almost 10 years (Yeah, I started young!) - including this website backend, and some projects listed below. I can easily find my way around a Linux server and the configuration files. I've also worked with C, Visual Basic, Delphi and Pascal at one stage or another.
Do I know you?
I will have worked with some of you who read this, so hello to you! In previous lives I have worked for an insurance company selling travel insurance, and a large electrical retailer as a salesperson and then a merchandiser.
Others reading this will know me from some of the projects I have worked on in the past including my time as QA Lead for Anope IRC Services, and head-honcho at ezVPS Xen Hosting.
If you don't know me and are reading this, you must want to know me. This is a great place to start. I suggest reading my blog posts and twitter feed to learn more. But please, no stalking.
Random fact?
You'll may or may not be surprised to know that I can be very OCD on things at times... I love attention to detail. Infact, I've written this blurb several times over, just to make sure it sounds OK!
Dude! You must play some games?
Am I a gamer? Well, of sorts. I have an XBox 360 and a nice high-end desktop computer, so when chilling is required you'll usually find me on either of these driving around somewhere or blowing things up, but unlike some I won't be spending all day gaming!
I've been to Butlins, where have you been?
Ibiza, Majorca, Turkey, USA and Canada.
I love travelling. Some people think I'm weird because I enjoy the freedom of independent travel such as my recent trips to Canada, but I love being able to do what I want, when I want. I guess that makes me kind of selfish in that respect.
You'll find some of my holiday photos appear throughout my blog postings. The categories (when they appear!) will make finding them easy.

What else is going on right now?
Well, I also have another project running over at im.cm, which is a lovely link shortening service. There are plans afoot to make it awesome and feature-rich, with a nice open-source code base. Watch that space!
